Lindsay Heights

WINS focus on Lindsay Heights is based on work that began several years ago.

skreechIn December 2008, Walnut Way Conservation Corporation, a nonprofit convened an inclusive planning process and developed a five-year blueprint for Lindsay Heights community revitalization. Hundreds of people and scores of organizations participated in creating a shared vision for improving the social, economic, and physical conditions in Lindsay Heights. Lindsay Heights residents seek to enable high academic performance and civic character for the purpose of sustaining personal well-being and a healthy community” (Lindsay Heights Quality of Life Plan, 2009).

In Partnership with the Lindsay Heights Community WINS is currently engaged in the following work:

Lindsay Heights Children Success Coalition (LHCSC) Lindsay Heights Children's Success Coalition unites schools and community partners in supporting families and children in the areas of academic achievement, youth and family engagement, health and wellness, safety, and life-long learning. Working deliberately and systematically, we create a zone of success that transforms our Lindsay Heights community.
